Meet the Team
Nick S. Morrow DMD
Dr. Nick Morrow, a Board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, attended Henry Clay High School and later Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate degree. He returned to Lexington to attend the University Of Kentucky College Of Dentistry. In 2002 he returned to Vanderbilt University where he completed his residency in oral & maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Morrow opened his practice here in Lexington in 2006.
Matthew N. Gayheart
Dr. Matthew N. Gayheart is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. He is from Richmond, Kentucky where he graduated from Madison Central High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Eastern Kentucky University. Dr. Gayheart attended the University of Kentucky for dental school, medical school and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He started with our practice in 2016 and is excited to continue serving the people of Kentucky as a partner at Morrow & Gayheart.
Nashwin Laungani, DMD, MD
Dr. Nashwin Laungani, known to many as Dr. Nash, grew up in Lexington and is proud to serve his community with advanced surgical expertise and compassionate treatment.
Dr. Nash graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School as a Kentucky Governor’s Scholar and National Merit Scholar. He continued his education at Transylvania University as a William T. Young Scholar, where he graduated summa cum laude as valedictorian of his class with a double major in Biology and Spanish Language & Literature. He competed on the men’s varsity tennis team and was an academic all-conference athlete all four years.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where he graduated summa cum laude as valedictorian of his class. During dental school, Dr. Nash participated in the research track, presenting his work at national conferences and publishing in peer-reviewed journals. He was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship all four years and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society. His academic and clinical records earned him numerous accolades listed below.
Following dental school, Dr. Nash earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, graduating in the top quartile of his class. He subsequently completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Louisville Hospital where he received extensive and comprehensive training in the full scope of the speciality.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Nash is deeply committed to service. He regularly volunteers at local medical charity events and has traveled as far as Ecuador and the Phillippines to provide surgical treatment for underprivileged communities.
Outside of work, Dr. Nash enjoys spending his time with his wife and their two young children.
